The EDI Event Planning course will introduce you to the events
industry and show you the secrets professional event planners use
to make their events seem effortlessly smooth.
From organising weddings and parties to corporate event
planning, you will learn how to combine your natural creative flair
with your newfound knowledge to set up a very marketable event
planning business.
You will look at the range of events that planners may be called
on to create, and the logistical arrangements you will have to
consider. You will look at venue selection, themes and design
issues and then move on to the nuts and bolts of event planning:
catering, equipment hire, promotional materials, costing,
insurance, health and safety, staffing and more.
You will also have a chance to put your event planning training
into practice, applying your new knowledge to the production of an
event of your own - which makes this EDI Event Planning course
ideal if you're already planning your own wedding or large
event.
You don't need any previous experience or qualifications to
enrol in our EDI Event Planning course. That's because we believe
in making home study - and a rewarding future - as accessible as
possible. It would be beneficial, however, to have basic computer
skills in Microsoft Word, internet and email.
Event planning is a growth business, and employment
opportunities are increasing for qualified and experienced event
planners. You could find yourself working as a hotel conference and
banqueting coordinator, a wedding planner or a meetings
coordinator.
On completion of the EDI Event Planning course, you'll receive
the EDI Level 2 Certificate in Event Planning.
