BTEC Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Construction & Surveying

Similar to the BTEC Advanced Diploma in Construction, this course replaces some of the construction-specific learning with an in-depth study of surveying techniques and equipment. As such, it offers an invaluable introduction to this specialised sector of the construction industry, one of the largest employment sectors in the UK. You'll learn about current technologies used in building, and look at the processes utilised in the design of new and innovative structures. The equipment and methods used in surveying will be examined, as will the responsibilities of a surveyor. You'll gain vital skills in measuring, tendering and estimating, and also study the health and safety issues that surround construction in general - particularly relevant in today's working environment.
