Who is it for?

Where can it lead?
This versatile qualification can open up opportunities within either education or community development, or a combination of the two. A wide range of roles are available within these sectors, from hands-on programme implementation and management to high level policy development. Should you wish, the degree is also the perfect link to a number of postgraduate programmes, which can lead to higher level roles in community education.
Salary?
Most of the roles offered to graduates of this course are public sector-based. On entry, you can expect a salary range of £14,000 to £25,000, depending on the type of work you are undertaking. Further experience and training should lead to salaries up to around £50,000.
Can I apply?

Period of study
You will study the equivalent of 18 x 20-credit modules over the course of the programme. Each module accounts for approximately 200 hours of study. You are given 8 years within which to complete the full degree.
