Today's health care services require efficient management to remain effective and develop future services. This course has been created to fulfil the need for professional managers in the health care sector who are able to plan, implement and maintain care programs for the good of the community. You'll explore the theory and principles of healthcare management, including the historical development of healthcare institutions in the UK up to the present day. You'll gain practical skills in organisation, strategic thinking and communication that you can put to practical use in a variety of social healthcare settings.
