Who is it for?
As a business manager with an eye on financial operations, you'll most likely have an interest in keeping up with current financial trends. You'll be aware of the vital role played by the financial world, and have a desire to utilise its systems to create business growth. You may be the sort of person who loves the challenge of raising investment funds, or otherwise generating capital for worthwhile projects. Whatever your financial focus, you'll be looking for a multi-faceted career that combines both general and financial management skills.
Where can it lead?
The management skills you gain in this course will equip you for any kind of business management role. Adding a focus in finance gives you an additional string to your bow, which you can choose to carry into a specific financial area (such as banking, investment or financial advice) or call upon within a general management position. In addition, you'll gain credibility in the eyes of employers through having completed a degree from a highly respected institution - graduates are by far the most favoured candidates for business management roles.
Salary?
As you'd expect, salaries within the area of business management vary considerably, depending on experience and seniority. As a general guide, graduates generally earn anything between £12,000 and £20,000. With further training and experience, this can rise to between £25,000 and £42,000, with rapid increases as you work your way up to the level of manager or director.
